| THIS YEARS FOALS
This years foals started to arrive in May, with two more due in July.
This folder provides the images of the foals, usually with their respective
mares, and a dialogue about each foal from the herdmaster’s perspective.
A pedigree is available for each foal in the Pedigree Barn which may be
viewed and saved by the viewer.
Most foals are considered “for sale”, with an occasional exception,
where we are planning to add an animal to the replacement herd.
These foals will be shown here, with the hope that they may not be the
last from the aged mare, and subsequent offspring may be available or the
later foal retained instead of the one shown here.
Most of the foals will be born in the Spring to Summer months, due
to husbandry considerations for the mares and a successful breeding program
with higher than ninety percent of pregnancies carried to live births.
Its not a contest for us to see who can have the first foal of the year.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing foals should request additional
images of the foals at a later age than is shown here. The images
will probably be revised when the foals are weaned, usually at four and
one-half months. Please direct requests to the Herdmaster.
